About the Journal
SUWA: Journal of Education and Counseling is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the dissemination of research findings, theoretical discussions, and best practices in the fields of education and counseling. The journal aims to be a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, educators, counselors, and students to exchange ideas, insights, and innovations that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in these areas.
The journal publishes original manuscripts that explore a wide range of topics, including learning innovation, curriculum development, inclusive education, character education, educational management, and teacher professional development. In the counseling domain, the journal covers individual and group counseling, career counseling, educational counseling, family and social counseling, mental health counseling, and Islamic counseling—emphasizing spiritually grounded, values-based approaches that support holistic psychological well-being.
SUWA: Journal of Education and Counseling is published four times a year, in February, May, August, and November.
