Author Guidelines
Journal of Education and Social Sciences (JEDSOC)
Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to JEDSOC are required to follow the guidelines below. Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned for revision prior to the peer review process.
1. General Requirements

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

The manuscript should be written in clear, academic English.

All submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission system or via the official email address.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have agreed to the content of the manuscript.
2. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should be organized as follows:

Title (concise and informative)

Author(s)’ Name(s) and Affiliation(s)

Abstract (150–250 words)
Summarize the purpose, method, main findings, and conclusion of the study. -
Keywords (3–5 relevant keywords)

Introduction
Present the background, research problem, objectives, and significance of the study. -
Literature Review (optional)
Provide a brief overview of relevant previous studies (can be combined with Introduction). -
Methodology
Describe the research design, data collection, instruments, and analysis methods. -
Results
Present the research findings clearly, using tables or figures where necessary. -
Discussion
Interpret the results, relate to existing studies, and explain implications. -
Conclusion
Summarize the main findings, contributions, limitations, and recommendations. -
References
List all references cited in the manuscript using APA 7th edition style.
3. Formatting Guidelines

Manuscript should be typed in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.

Use Times New Roman, size 12 pt, with 1.5 line spacing.

Margin: 2.5 cm (top, bottom, left, and right).
-
Manuscript length: 5,000–8,000 words, including references.

Tables and figures should be placed within the text, properly numbered and titled.
4. Citation and References

Use APA 7th Edition citation style.

Ensure that all in-text citations are listed in the References section and vice versa.

Use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero to format citations.
5. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using appropriate software. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be rejected or returned for revision.
6. Article Processing Charge (APC)
Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge of IDR 200,000 for each accepted manuscript. There are no charges for submission or peer review.
7. Ethical Considerations

Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest.

All research involving human subjects must include a statement of ethical approval.

Authors must ensure proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources.
