Abstract
The shift in the digital-oriented educational paradigm has had a significant impact on the psychological well-being of students. The increasing phenomenon of academic stress, digital fatigue, and social anxiety among students indicates the need to revitalize the function and role of Guidance and Counseling teachers in the school environment. This research is motivated by the urgent need for a counseling service model that is adaptive to the challenges of the digital era, where human interaction is increasingly replaced by technology and social relationships tend to be virtual. The purpose of this study is to analyze in depth the strategic role of BK teachers in optimizing counseling services for improving student mental health amidst the development of digitalization of learning, and to identify the most effective forms of intervention in this context. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of digital counseling services. Data analysis is carried out thematically using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and iterative drawing of conclusions. The results of the study indicate that BK teachers have a central role as mental health facilitators who are able to bridge the gap between students' emotional needs and digital academic pressures. Empathy-based, reflective, and collaborative counseling services have been proven effective in reducing learning anxiety and improving students' psychological well-being. Furthermore, the integration of digital technology into guidance and counseling services, such as e-counseling and well-being monitoring apps, increases the accessibility and effectiveness of counseling services. This research confirms that transforming the role of guidance and counseling teachers from mere counselors to digital mental health coaches is essential for maintaining students' psychological well-being
